Bothell PCC opening soon

We’re excited to grow PCC’s presence northeast of Seattle and share our love of great food with the opening of Bothell PCC in July.

Summertime blues

Organic blueberries are at their peak right now, and PCC’s shelves are overflowing with local, organic farmer Mark LaPierre’s abundant crop of the sweet Draper variety. Eat them by the handful or enjoy them in these recipes for summer treats. We’re offering a few classics, including muffins and a buckle, along with more healthful (but still delicious!) options with little to no refined sugar.

Choosing sustainable shrimp

Outside of the United States and Canada, both farmed and wild shrimp carry a destructive burden, making it difficult for conscientious eaters to find shrimp that meets their values. PCC sells only sustainable wild shrimp.

Sunscreen and coral reefs

A chemical found in thousands of sunscreens worldwide may partly be responsible for coral reef bleaching — and all it takes is a drop. PCC sells only sunscreens that are better for the environment and your health.
