Daddy's Muesli

Daddy’s Muesli

In the bulk department

Made in small batches in Port Townsend, Wash., and delivered in bulk to minimize packaging, the muesli from Tim Lambert and Sheryl Morgenstern of Daddy’s Muesli is created with organic ingredients that are packed with terrific flavor. Each bowl offers you a tasty blend of oats and pumpkin, flax and sunflower seeds, along with perfectly contrasting textures from chewy dates and raisins, and crunchy almonds and hazelnuts. The light ‘n’ crispy finishing touch comes from a mix of cornflakes and quinoa-amaranth flakes. Daddy’s Muesli began back in 2010 after a few years of fine-tuning its recipe; PCC has carried it in bulk since 2013.

Choice organic wellness teas

At the espresso counter and in the grocery department

Formulated by a master herbalist and faculty member of Bastyr University, these flavorful blends are designed to support daily health and enhance wellness. With the arrival of back-to-school season, germs seem to spread more easily, even if you don’t currently have kids at home. Look for tea blends that target specific issues like Throat Cozy, Energy Boost, Easy Digest and Breathe Easy in the tea aisle or at our espresso bars. Selection varies by store.

LaPierre Blueberries

LaPierre local, organic blueberries

In the freezer case

Exclusive to PCC, these outstandingly sweet berries are available in frozen two-pound bags, thanks to our long-standing partnership with Mark LaPierre and his family. The berries are the big, beautiful Duke cultivar, and they were picked at their peak and frozen immediately to preserve their flavor and texture. They’re ideal for using straight from the freezer to add to pancakes or muffins or tossing into a smoothie; thawed, they’re a delicious addition to a yogurt parfait or cozy bowl of oatmeal. Try them in our adorable Ladybug Pancakes for a special weekend treat (the pancakes freeze well, too, for school day breakfasts).
