Vegan Aioli for Grilled Artichokes

  • 1 package firm silken tofu (8 ounces)
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro*
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil, optional


Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until a creamy consistency.

Special notes:

* Substitute the cilantro with any fresh herb you like.
