Ingredients

Basic Marinade

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic

Mediterranean Marinade

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, marjoram, thyme, etc.)
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced

Latin Marinade

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced

Asian Marinade

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Directions

Combine ingredients and pour over your meat or vegetables. Marinades can be applied several minutes to several hours ahead of cooking. Always marinate your food in the refrigerator and turn occasionally to evenly coat.
