PCC Board Updates

The PCC Board of Trustees met on Aug. 5, 2020 for its third quarter Board meeting, which was held virtually. Each of the committees held a quarterly review followed by a full Board meeting. Highlights include:

  • Governance and Membership Committee discussed the Board and Committee evaluation process and a process for identifying current Board skill sets and gaps, as well as the recruiting process.
  • Audit and Finance Committee reviewed Q2 financials and the annual workplan.
  • Management Development and Compensation Committee discussed PCC staff anniversary and staff discount programs.
  • The Board heard an update from the CEO search committee and Korn Ferry, who was chosen by the Board to assist in the process of recruiting PCC’s new CEO. BoardReady, a not-for-profit organization helping diversify the membership of boards, gave a presentation followed by a discussion about a plan and timeline for adding diversity to the Board of Trustees. The Board also heard a financial update from Chief Financial Officer Krish Srinivasan, a merchandising and supply chain update from VP of Merchandising Darrell Vannoy, and a social and environmental responsibility (SER) update from VP of SER, Brenna Davis.

Want to meet members of the Board? PCC holds four virtual meetings annually to give our members an opportunity to connect with members of the Board. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Feb. 17.

Next Board meeting

The Board of Trustees generally meets four times per year. Board committees may meet more frequently, with the number of meetings depending on the committee. The 2021 Board meeting schedule will be finalized before the close of 2020.
