Miso-Tahini Butter with Carrot & Pepper Dippers

  • Yields: Makes ⅔ cup

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon white or mellow miso
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons warm water
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 2 to 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, cut into 3-inch sticks
  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, cut into thick strips

Directions

In small bowl, put the miso. Add the water, a few drops at a time, and stir with a whisk until integrated.

Add the tahini a little at a time, whisking after each addition to get a creamy consistency. Add a little more water if needed.

Stir in the green onions.

Serve as a dip for the carrots and pepper or any other fresh vegetables.
