- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1 orange, peeled and segmented
- 2 to 3 leaves lacinato kale
- 1-inch knob fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- A few slices of apple, banana or other fruit of your choice
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup water, juice or coconut water
Combine avocado, orange, kale, ginger, fruit slices and 1/3 cup water, juice or coconut water in a blender. Blend for about 1 minute to make sure ginger is evenly blended. Add a little more liquid for desired thickness and blend about 15 seconds longer. Drink right away.
