The 2019 PCC Annual Election is just around the corner. Get ready to cast your vote!

Saturday, June 1

Voting online will be open to all eligible members at 8 a.m. For member convenience, and in support of our environmental bottom line, PCC recommends voting online. However, paper ballots with a self-addressed stamped envelope will be available upon request from June 1 through June 21 by contacting PCC Membership at membership@pccmarkets.com.

Voting Deadlines

Online voting must be completed by midnight PST on Saturday, June 22.

Paper ballots must be received by mail by close of business PST on Friday, June 21 at:

PCC Community Markets
Attention: Secretary
3131 Elliott Avenue, Suite 500
Seattle, WA 98121

Ballots not received by close of business on June 21 may be returned in person at the Annual Meeting on June 26.

PCC’s annual meeting will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at PCC’s Co-op Office. The Annual Meeting this year will be different than in the past. We will conduct a very brief meeting to meet the requirements of our Bylaws and close the annual election. No other content will be presented.

We know that some members enjoyed the opportunity at the Annual Meeting to meet the Board and management. This winter, we launched a new outreach program to give this opportunity on a more frequent basis. The goal for these events is to share highlights of our business, inform members about PCC initiatives, and provide time for members to ask questions as well as offer input on topics that are important to them. We have held two events so far, and we encourage members to attend a future event!

Given this new approach, we will not present member content at the Annual Meeting. While members can attend the Annual Meeting, it will be a brief, 15-minute session intended to meet the requirements of PCC’s Bylaws and validate the election vote. See the Sound Consumer for information on upcoming opportunities to connect with the Board and management.

Questions about your eligibility to vote, how you can vote, or PCC’s annual election process? We’ll publish Election FAQs in the June Sound Consumer, which will be available in stores and online. You can also contact PCC Membership at membership@pccmarkets.com with election questions.

See the June Sound Consumer or the upcoming election page at pccmarkets.com for all candidate and election information.

We encourage online voting. You can also vote by paper ballot on request as previously described.

Eligible members who have given PCC a valid email address by April 29, 2019 will receive an email on June 1, 2019 directing them to their unique online ballot. Once completed and submitted, you will receive an email confirmation that you have voted.
