- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- 1 ounce Calvados or apple brandy
- 1 ounce gin (a more floral selection is suggested)
- 2 dashes Douglas Fir bitters
- Lemon peel, for garnish (optional)
Combine everything but the lemon peel in a cocktail shaker. Briskly shake for 10 seconds or until your desired level of cold has been achieved.
Strain into a snifter or coupe glass.
Garnish with a twist of lemon peel, expressing the oils over the cocktail before placing in the glass.
You may also garnish with peeled, cubed apples.
