  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 cup raw buckwheat groats
  • 1/2 cup millet
  • 1/2 cup amaranth
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit


Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and pour into a storage container with a tight-fitting lid.

To serve two: Combine 1/2 cup prepared mix and 1 1/2 cups cold water in the top of a double boiler. Add about 2 inches water in the lower pot of the double boiler and set over medium heat. As water boils rapidly in lower unit, the cereal mix above will simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes, until grains are tender. Too thick? Add a little water. Too thin? Wait a couple minutes!
