- 12 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 teaspoons grated orange zest or 1 teaspsoon orange extract
Beat all ingredients together using an electric mixer, until smooth. Spread on a cooled cake.
If the cream cheese is not completely soft and at room temperature, it cannot be beaten completely smooth. Plan ahead and take it out of the fridge!
