Ingredients

  • 2 oranges, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce, or to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound boneless pork sirloin chops

Directions

In a glass container with a lid, whisk together orange zest and juice, lime juice, olive oil, sugar, hot sauce, garlic, shallots, salt and pepper. Add sirloin chops, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill to 375° F.

Remove chops from the marinade and place on the preheated grates. Grill for about 7 minutes per side, until an instant-read thermometer reaches 140° F. Remove from the grill, tent with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes.

Slice against the grain and serve as-is or in a sandwich.
