- 1 fresh lemon, sliced into thin rounds
- 5 slices cucumber
- 2 quarts filtered water, in a pitcher
- 3 sprigs fresh mint (optional)
- 1-inch knob fresh ginger root, sliced thin (optional)
Add lemon slices and cucumber to a pitcher of water, along with fresh mint and slices of ginger root. Let sit in the fridge overnight to infuse, then drink the water throughout the following day.
Add variations such as other herbs (parsley or basil) or other fruits (berries, oranges, limes) to pack a nice anti-inflammatory punch.
