- 4 large firm-ripe bananas, peeled
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Slice bananas in half lengthwise and brush with lemon juice.
Melt butter with sugar and cinnamon in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add bananas and sauté until just tender and golden, 4 to 6 minutes.
Serve on a warm plate. Try serving these bananas with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce.
