Preparation

Add 1¼ cups boiling water to 1 cup Israeili couscous. Cover pot & simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Comment

Israeli couscous is a pearl-like pasta that is larger than the traditional French couscous. It has been toasted, whereas most pastas are dried. This gives it a distinctive, nutty flavor and satisfying texture. The pasta absorbs the flavors it is prepared in, making it ideal with sauces & seasonings or in soups.
