Update on the PCC Scrip program

PCC is committed to providing a nutritionally sound, food-secure future for youth in the Puget Sound area. The current public health crisis is creating record levels of food insecurity in our community. PCC is taking several steps to help tackle this issue, including shifting our funding of the PCC Scrip program to directly address the food security challenge. PCC will officially discontinue the scrip school fundraising program for the 2020-2021 school year, instead focusing those funds on youth food security for our region.

As of Saturday, May 30, 2020, 11:59 p.m., all PCC Scrip card reloads will no longer accrue a 5% earmarked donation. After that date, remaining PCC Scrip cards will function as a PCC gift card, but no amount on the reload will be allocated toward a donation. Funds on these cards do not expire. Donations reflecting the 2019-2020 fundraising year will be mailed to participating organizations in mid-June 2020.
