PCC Natural Markets is delighted to announce our 10th store will open in the Greenlake neighborhood of Seattle on June 4 at 9 a.m.

A few delicious features include a salad bar, a smoothie bar and a classroom, so we can offer more PCC Cooks cooking classes. Shoppers will have 90 minutes of free, validated parking.

After the store opening, there’ll be special events all weekend, so be sure to visit! Come pick up some food from the deli for a picnic at nearby Green Lake Park.

Our current Greenlake store on Aurora will remain open. All 10 PCC stores will be celebrating during the month of June with storewide specials.
Thank you members and shoppers for your strong support that has allowed PCC to grow. We look forward to seeing you at our new location!

Coal trains

Few environmental issues have raised local fervor as much as the coal trains planned for the Pacific Northwest. Opponents warn that shipping coal through the Northwest will reduce our air and water quality, affecting public health, as well as rivers and wildlife — including salmon habitat — along the shipping routes.

Extreme weather is affecting food prices

The people who produce our food are sweating out the current drought. Costs for water and animal feed are soaring and retail food prices are beginning to climb, too.
