- Serves: 2 to 4
- Ingredient Notes: Vegetarian, Vegan, Corn-free, Dairy-free, Egg-free, Gluten-free, Peanut-free, Soy-free, Tree nut-free
- 1 cup lentils
- 2 cups water
- 1 to 3 inches kombu or wakame (optional)
Rinse lentils well, removing any stones. Add to a pan along with water and kombu. Bring to a boil, cover, then reduce to a simmer for 45 minutes or until soft.
