Ingredients
Spanish pardina lentils.
Preparation
Rinse and sort before cooking. For each cup of lentils, use at least 2½ cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer slowly until lentils are tender. 1 cup dry whole lentils will yield about 2½ cups of cooked lentils. Cooking times: Salads: 20-25 mins. Main Dishes: 25-30 mins. Soups & purees: 30+ minutes.
