Preparation

No presoaking required. Cook 1 cup rinsed lentils in 4 cups liquid for 15 minutes for salad; 30-45 minutes for soups or stews. . Salt after cooking. Pressure cooking is not recommended.

Yield: about 1/2 cup per 1/4 cup dry lentils.
