Anna is a food scientist and nutritionist who has worked as a food product developer, scientific writer and educator for almost a decade. She was born and raised in The Netherlands and moved to Canada later in life. Anna is especially passionate about bridging the knowledge gap between the people who grow, produce and sell food and those who purchase and consume it. She feels that since everyone needs to eat, everyone should also have access to comprehensible educational materials about food and nutrition. Anna realizes this by teaching classes on food science and nutrition that are fun and interactive. In her spare time, Anna writes articles and creates delicious and easy-to-make recipes on her website Truthful Food.
