Learn to build a flavorful stock for the soup base and craft a scratch-made pie dough to fill, fry and finish with a vanilla glaze.

About the instructor: Chef Jalissa takes pride in preparing Southern dishes that reflect her family’s favorite recipes inspired by the African Diaspora. Through her company, Chef Jalissa Culinary Co., she creates products for fellow food lovers who live for delicious and unique culinary experiences. A graduate of the School of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University, and Florence University of Arts, Italy, Jalissa is a private chef, caterer and instructor and is part of the Food Innovation Network's Spice Bridge Incubator Program.
