Description

So you want to eat more plants — we’ll show you where to start. In this class, learn how to prepare healthy bases for a versatile, plant-based menu including different types of grains and multiple methods of cooking beans. Observe a variety of skills for bringing out the flavor of vegetables, from roasting to nishime, a time-tested simmering technique. Fuel up with plant proteins, incorporate more greens and get comfortable with meal planning to help create new, healthy habits.

Vegetarian; no dairy, eggs or gluten. PCC classrooms are not gluten-free facilities.
