Create a rainbow of pasta with chef Erica! We'll flour our hands and fire up our chef skills as we make egg pasta dough from scratch using vegetables and spices. Kids will construct green, pink and yellow pasta before crafting either ground pork or three-cheese fillings. Then they’ll form, fill and cook Colorful Tortellini and serve it with a fragrant Garlic Butter Sauce.
With gluten, dairy and eggs; optional meat.
About the instructor: Erica is a passionate cook and educator. She attended the University of Washington while working at Seattle's renowned fine-dining restaurant, Canlis, as a professional cook. In 2017 she went on to co-found Seattle Cucina Cooking School, and works in partnership with Seattle Public Schools, sharing culinary education with students. Erica is thrilled to be sharing her love of cooking and eating together with Seattle kids and families.
November 11 is a school holiday. This class is designed as a hands-on cook-along experience, with the instructor guiding students through the dishes. The class is offered live via the Zoom app. Recipes, pre-class prep and an equipment list will be sent five days in advance. After class, we will share a recorded version. Online classes are nonrefundable.
