Calling all experienced junior bakers! Join pastry chef Marianna to explore classic baking essentials with a holiday twist. Budding bakers will explore different techniques each day and develop building blocks for a lifetime of scratch-made goodies. After they hone their skills, crafting a range of delicious items from muffins to meringues and rolls to shortbread, they'll be ready to share their creations this holiday season.

About the instructor: Marianna is a pastry chef and Washington native who grew up in the central part of the state. After several years in the veterinary industry, Marianna switched careers and now teaches cooking all around the Puget Sound, as far east as Snoqualmie. Marianna focuses on technique-driven classes and loves to demystify the cooking and baking process and its associated science.

This class is designed as a hands-on cook-along experience, with the instructor guiding students through the dishes. The class is offered live via the Zoom app. Recipes, pre-class prep and an equipment list will be sent five days in advance. After class, we will share a recorded version. Online classes are nonrefundable.
