Get your budding bakers ready — it's pop tart time! Kids will bake along with Lisa as she takes them through the steps to make these popular goodies from scratch. They’ll learn to make a sturdy pastry dough, cinnamon filling, and frosted and drizzled glazes for the final, sweet touch to complete their Jammy Pop Tarts and Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts.

About the instructor: Lisa has loved the kitchen for as long as she can remember. While she has experience teaching regular school subjects to kindergartners through sixth graders, as well as cooking and baking professionally, Lisa finds real delight helping people of all ages connect to food. Through her business, The Tiny Kitchen, Lisa works to empower cooks young and old to use great ingredients and transform those ingredients into meals for the whole family. Lisa is a member of the Bread Bakers Guild of America.
This class is designed as a hands-on cook-along experience offered live via the Zoom app. This series is geared toward a wide age range, and parental assistance or supervision may be needed for younger students. Recipes, pre-class prep and an equipment list will be sent before class; after class, we will share a recorded version. One spot in class is good for one kitchen. Online classes are nonrefundable.
