Description

Celebrate Friendsgiving with a twist in this hands-on cooking class that brings together bold flavors and comforting dishes perfect for sharing. We'll start with tender Roasted Garam Masala Chicken Thighs and Onions, finished with a sprinkle of Herbed Feta for a bright, savory contrast. Next, we'll prepare a side of Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Mushrooms tossed in a smoky Harissa sauce, adding depth and heat to the table. Finally, you'll learn to make a velvety Creamy Ras El Hanout Butternut Squash and Leek Soup, layered with warm, fragrant spices. This flavorful menu is designed to bring new life to your Friendsgiving traditions with dishes that are sure to impress.

About the instructor: Chef Kat got her start in her parents' Mediterranean restaurant while in high school. Kat then attended California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, followed by a 3-month internship in Dublin, Ireland. From there her 20+ year career spans fine dining, large scale catering events, and being a private chef. When the youngest of her children developed serious food allergies her culinary focus shifted and she’s now a master at adapting recipes to exclude common allergens. When she's not cooking, you can find her in her garden, baking or at a local yoga class.
