Ages 6-10, with one adult. Get into the holiday spirit with this special parent-and-kid cooking class! Together, you'll create three sweets that are perfect for sharing and enjoying during the season. Start with Pistachio Blood Orange Pinwheels, a delightful twist on classic cookies with vibrant flavors and a beautiful swirl. Crunchy, sweet, and salty, Brown Butter Rice Krispies are the perfect treat for the young and the young at heart. Lastly, master perfect Sugar Cookie dough and decorate the finished cookies with colorful holiday sprinkles, adding a personal touch to these classic favorites. This class is all about having fun in the kitchen while making holiday memories with your little chefs.

About the instructor: Heather Newton started out as a dishwasher at Canlis, working her way up to the pastry team. Since then, she graduated from the Specialty Breads and Desserts program, and has baked her way around Seattle. Now she enjoys sharing what she learned along the way with students of all ages.
