In 2016, we began publishing an annual Co-op Purpose Report to share with our members and shoppers the impact we’re having against our triple bottom line in our communities and beyond. We use data to measure progress against social and environmental goals, tell the stories of partners who enable us to do what we do and reiterate the values that don’t always show up in numbers, but are often the reasons why our members and shoppers choose PCC time and again.

Our co-op made significant strides in 2024. Although we faced challenges in recent years, we remained unwavering in our conviction about the vital role that PCC plays in the health of our local food system, fueling our commitment to overcome these obstacles. In 2024, this work included establishing a new standard for cleaning products, holding a convening on regenerative agriculture, and bolstering partnerships that support farms and food banks.
