Brazilian Hot Chocolate (Chocolate Quente Capuccino)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 3 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 ounce strong coffee
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Whip heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Set aside for garnishing the mugs.

In a small saucepan set over medium heat, warm milk and whisk in chopped chocolate until it dissolves completely. Stir in water, coffee and cinnamon. Divide between two mugs, then top with whipped cream.
