Non-GMO and Fair Trade Month

October is Non-GMO Month and Fair Trade Month, two good reasons to remember the value of an informed choice in what we eat. We have much to celebrate!

PCC stores now have more than 3,700 Non-GMO Project Verified products and more are added all the time. Look for many to be on sale throughout the month.

All of PCC’s chocolate, coffee and bananas — plus some sugar, cocoa and tea — are produced with fair trade principles. This means fair prices for farmers, fair labor conditions for workers, and, typically, opportunities for community development and education.

Buying fair trade is a way to say “thank you” to the many hands that bring food to our tables.
