Ingredients
- 1 navel orange, peeled and segmented
- 1 banana, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup rice or cow’s milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ice cubes
- Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
Directions
Place orange, banana, milk, honey, vanilla, ice cubes and pinch of pumpkin pie spice in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth, adding a little more milk, if necessary.
Pour into two mugs and sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.
Special notes:
Kids of all ages can help peel and segment oranges and bananas. Let them practice counting, measuring and adding ingredients to the blender.
