Ingredients
brown rice, Wehani rice, Black Japonica rice, black-eyed peas, brown lentils, green split peas, yellow split peas
Preparation
Rinse, drain and cover 1 cup pilaf blend with 2 1/2 cups water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, cook covered 45-50 minutes. Let rest for a few minutes, and then fluff with a fork before serving.
Yield: about 3/4 cup per 1/4 cup uncooked blend
