PCC Community Markets (PCC or the co-op), a 72-year-old retail grocery cooperative serving the Puget Sound region, will open its first-ever small format store today at 9 a.m. Opening day celebrations will include free samples, giveaways for the first 50 shoppers, and music.
PCC Corner Market was designed around the needs of Downtown Seattle workers, residents, and visitors, offering quick, convenient options for breakfast, lunch, and after-work grab-and-go items as well as everyday essentials for smaller shopping trips.

Located at 4th Avenue & Union Street, PCC Corner Market offers a curated selection of fresh, hot, and prepared foods, along with an assortment of grocery and pantry essentials. Shoppers will find signature deli items from PCC Market Kitchen, a hot bar, salad bar, fresh sushi, ice cream, beer and wine, plus everyday staples like milk and eggs. Every product on the shelves meets PCC’s industry-leading standards for quality and ingredients.
“Pike Market Food Bank celebrates the opening of our neighborhood PCC,” said Pamela Hinckley, Executive Director of Pike Market Food Bank. “Their commitment to our grocery donation program ensures that more individuals in our community have access to nutritious, responsibly sourced food. We’re deeply grateful to PCC for their support and partnership, and we look forward to being neighbors again in the heart of our city.”
The new store marks the co-op’s return to the heart of the city, occupying a smaller footprint at its original Downtown location.
Located at 1320 4th Ave., PCC Corner Market will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
