An Update from Our CEO

2026 News

Dear PCC member-owner,

I am writing to share some personal news: I have decided to retire as our co-op’s CEO and President at the end of January 2027.

This is a deeply personal decision, and one that I have arrived at after many months of reflection. At its heart is my deep conviction that PCC is very well positioned for the next chapter in its leadership, and that I am ready to pass the reins to someone new as I look ahead to spending more time with family and loved ones in my own life’s next chapter.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge that leadership transitions like this, while hard, are also natural and important passages in any organization’s life.

With nearly six months to go before my departure, the team and I have begun planning a transition in the co-op’s leadership. Joe Rogoff, who chairs PCC’s Board of Trustees, is leading the search for our next CEO, and will share meaningful progress updates with you in the coming weeks. Joe is a strategic thinker who values inclusivity and truly gets our co-op “soul”, and I will be supporting him and the search committee in any way needed over these coming months.

I want to reassure you that there will be no change in our approach to the co-op’s strategy, operations, or day-to-day decision-making because of today’s announcement. As a team, we have a full and exciting plate ahead of us that demands our undiluted focus – the new store opening in Madison Valley and preparing for another fantastic holiday season!

I will, of course, circle back closer to my departure with a note of farewell. For today, I just want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to steward what is the most iconic and special organization in our city. Your passion for this co-op and your commitment to our mission are what makes this community so special. I am incredibly grateful for the past eight years, and in particular, the four and a half that I have served as CEO. I am proud of what we have been able to achieve together.

Thank you for being a PCC member, and for all that you do in support of our community.

With gratitude,

Krish
