Description

The crispy, tender fried cutlets known as katsu are a classic home-cooked Japanese dish – in this kids’ cooking class, budding chefs will prepare them as part a bento box-style meal. Students will learn a three-stage breading process for making katsu at home, and to round out the meal they’ll practice steaming rice, preparing a brine for quick pickles and measuring and mixing ingredients for from-scratch dipping sauces.

Contains poultry and eggs.
