PCC joined 354 health, agriculture, environment, animal protection, religious, and other interest groups to sign on in support of the Preservation of Antibiotics for Medical Treatment Act (PAMTA, H.R. 1549/S. 619).
To U.S. Congressional representatives from Washington state, re: urging support for the Preservation of Antibiotics for Medical Treatment Act (H.R. 2562), limiting antibiotics in feed for livestock to prevent development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Letter sent to House and Senate Appropriations Committees, urging them to oppose any policy riders to limit the rulemaking authority of the Secretary of Agriculture under the Packers and Stockyards Act.
Letter urging the Senate Appropriations Committee to reject any effort to weaken, suspend or rescind mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) in the upcoming legislation to provide funding for the federal government for the remainder or part of Fiscal Year 2015.
