Supporting Safer Consumer Products in our State

PCC submitted comments to the Department of Ecology expressing support for the draft recommendations to limit or require disclosure of priority toxic chemicals in consumer products.

Beyond our commitment to organic food, PCC has long recognized the importance of reducing toxic chemicals in consumer products, for the safety and health of people and our ecosystems. That is why PCC submitted comments to the Department of Ecology on the Safer Products for Washington Program’s draft recommendations to regulate certain high-risk chemicals commonly found in consumer products.
