(November 2002) — In this season of giving thanks, PCC Natural Markets wishes to thank its members for a tremendous year. The best way we know how is to help you save money on the products PCC carries.
In December, PCC is increasing the number of Member Appreciation Days from one to four, to thank you for your membership and patronage.
“Members are the backbone of this co-operative,” says Tracy Wolpert, CEO. “It’s because of our members that we can support small, local farms and a sustainable environment and provide the fresh, nutritious foods that we do. It’s because of our members that PCC has made a difference in the marketplace, creating the demand that has driven organic and sustainable agriculture.”
So far this year, PCC’s Member Appreciation Days have given back to members $292,000. That’s more than $41,000 given back to members on each Member Appreciation Day. “As a consumer-owned co-operative, we’re proud to give back to those who make all that we do possible,” says Wolpert.
PCC will mail a postcard to members in November to remind them they must have their PCC membership card or the postcard in hand at checkout to receive the 10 percent member discount.
The postcards are being mailed to active members and members that have gone inactive in the past 24 months (except resignations). If you’re not yet a member, it’s not too late to join before December 1.
