Scottish born Gill Dey sold her first cake when she was 7 years old and has been in love with cooking ever since. Trained as a home economist and magazine journalist, she spent the early part of her career as a food editor and cook book author and loves to teach. Her job took her all over the world sampling food and learning cooking techniques. She has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 20 years. Her mission is to share her enthusiasm for learning the art and science of cooking.
